My art
I always put everything I love into my art. Animals and nature are often the heart of each illustration. I find myself thinking about how the characters, the protagonists who live in the undergrowth of my imagination, would integrate into the real natural world. How mushrooms could be useful to an elf, how a fairy would rest in the shade of a tree or how a dragon would camouflage by exploiting the environment around him. By doing so I hope to convey to others everything I feel and hope to connect them to my world.

Techniques
I find it very useful to move from one technique to another. Both to be as variable as possible, and to discover hidden paths, which previously did not seem practicable. When I enter a paint-shop I have a bit the same feeling as when I enter a forest. Every leaf, every twig, every trickle of running water can open a path for an unexpected journey. For such reasons in the gallery section, you will find a mix of everything I like to experiment with.

Photography
Photography is a very interesting tool and, as far as my work is concerned, also very useful. It helps me capture perfect moments, which I can then translate to paper. Perhaps studying the composition of a landscape or the pose of an animal. On the contrary, sometimes I like to give life in the real world to compositions that were initially created on paper. With the help of some models and fantasy clothes and accessories sometimes conceived and created by me.

Dragons
Dragons are the fantasy creatures that fascinate me most, even if they are the ones I approached later. I find it interesting to imagine them like any other animal and think about how they would adapt to different habitats and situations. I find these imaginary creatures so fascinating that I often find myself writing naturalistic notes on the behavior, flight and hunting techniques of some specimens which I then insert into my artbooks to accompany the illustrations.

Woodland Creatures
Elves and woodland creatures are the fantasy creatures that I draw and paint most often. I began to approach dryads first, because the shapes of trees have always fascinated me greatly. But in recent years I have focused on mushroom sprites, because mushrooms really stimulate my imagination, given the variety of shapes and colors.
